ANKENY, Iowa - SPAL USA has introduced a new line of shaved door kits and accessories for increased applicability and diversity of customization options. "As the caliber of customizations continues to advance, the need for quality shaved door components has kept pace," said Bob Folkestad, director of electronics and innovations, SPAL USA. "Our full line of shaved door kits and accessories offer installation specialists both dependable operation and the latest technology available."
Three shaved door kits are available from SPAL USA. The company's most popular is a Remote Shaved Door Kit with Two Solenoids (part # SHAVED-40). It comes with a seven-channel receiver, two remote transmitters and two solenoids with 40 pounds of pull, enough to open any vehicle door on the market today. All hardware necessary for installation is also included. For import and late-model vehicles, and especially well-suited for bear-claw style latches, SPAL USA offers a Remote Shaved Door Kit with Two Actuators (part #SHAVED-ACT). The seven-channel kit incorporates two SPAL USA actuators with 8 pounds of pull, two remote transmitters and all necessary installation hardware. SPAL USA's Remote Seven-Channel Shaved Door Kit (part #SHAVED) allows for use in those installations with existing door actuators or solenoids. Its seven-channel receiver can also be used to control up to seven functions on the vehicle by remote. In addition to the shaved door kits, SPAL USA offers a line of accessories that extend customization applications. Extreme Duty Solenoids (part #SIL40K) with over 40 pounds of force and a small mounting size are perfect for early street rods with small doors and antique vehicles. Aluminum and stainless steel-constructed Door Poppers (part #DP-3) provide for flush or surface mounting. The tips of the poppers can be cut down, giving the exact amount of push without sacrificing car doors or other vehicles nearby. And, SPAL USA offers replacement Shaved-40 Solenoid with Hardware-Gold, Remote Seven-Channel Shaved Door Kit Brain and Shaved Door Replacement Transmitter to complete any system.
