More of what we've been up to.

Busyness is the rule of the day here at your favorite car mag.  We're putting the finishing touches on January's issue, and you'll need to check into you nearest hospital for a transfusion if you don't find something in it that you like.  Check it out- we've got a homemade rearend narrowing story, Doug followed along as an Impala got a metalflake job on it's roof, Jeff fixed a rusty Chevelle fender, Doug and I checked out a taping of Pinks All Out in Las Vegas, and I wrote an arduously long piece on Chevrolet's Gen II LT1 engine.  If that doesn't pique your interest, just wait till you see our article on how to detail a car.  Sounds boring, I know, but here's a hint: there's a pretty girl involved!

On top of that we've got some cool car features including a '73 Charger that is dodgy-looking on the outside (pun intended) but packs a E85-sipping, centrifugally supercharged 440 under the hood, and a cool, resto-modded '66 Mustang.  Also, Magneto unearths some rotting E-bodies in Junkyard Crawl that will bring a tear to your eye.

January's issue is scheduled to be on newsstands somewhere around November 13th.  As an aside, I have no idea why we're working so far ahead, but that's the nature of the business, I guess.  Be on the lookout.

See ya,
John
