Welcome to Glad's blog.

Hey guys, I am trying out the blogging thing with the new blog tool. Some of you have read my old blogs where I scrounged around the yards looking for Rambler parts. Nothing much has changed. Stay tuned for more grease and less digital press-release filler.<br>

2. Yea, the bike is very cool - a 1985 or 1986 model, no? Looks like there's been a ton of work done to it - diggin' the ode to Kevin Schwantz paint scheme. Got an Arai replica helmet to go with it?

5. No one will ever catch DF. He is committed to the ultimate fleet of cars. His garage is much larger than mine. The bike is fast, but my friend just bought a Hayabusa and that thing is crazy crazy fast.

6. Hey Douglas R, did you see that episode of "Pinks" where the bald guy (Rich, I think) dumped a sport bike on the return lane? He was going maybe 5 MPH, gave it some gas, and WHOOP! Right out from underneath him, and it sent him ass-over-teakettle. Yeah...don't do that.

7. That was a classic. I did that when I was 15 years old on a Kawi KX500 (dirt bike) and got it out of my system. Never goose the bike or walk on the ice in front of a TV camera. The image of you on your butt will live foroever.

8. bitchin bike! Im too fat to ride a crotch rocket so i do it vicariously. a friend of mine bas a 91 ZX-7 that he wants me to paint.

Sure i get paint and crap for free, but even the temptations of Carne Asada french fries cant seem to sway my lazy self to do it yet.

9. hey glad, if you ever get the chance, come to Eastern Ky to do the Junkyard Crawl. The junkyards here suck but there are still lots of barn finds here. And I mean lots.

There's a guy up the road that has a 69 z/28, a 67 goat, and a year unknown GS400 sitting on the hill. He has a restored Judge convertible in the garage. If that wasn't enough, he's got some various 70's vettes and camaro's sitting around. I'll try to snap some pics before I head back to Ft. Drum.

11. hey Glad when are you guys gonna do a bad ass wagon? My uncle had a 68-69 nomad w/ a 350 and a T-10 that would lay rubber in fourth gear from a dead stop. actually, he still has it, 'cept its over the hill behind the house upside down in a creek....

13. I also had a '91 ZX-7. I swapped on a ZX-7R tailsection and powder-coated the swing arm and the wheels black. Then a guy turned in front of me so he could stop at the flower shop for his girlfriend and my bike sealed his passenger door shut. I landed on my boots and slid to a stop. I used that cash to buy the Rambler, good trade no?
