The boring 302


Remember the budget 302 we built in the November 2007 issue? It made something like 275 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque for about $2K. Well it was kinda cool for an economy engine that you could put in a F-150 or an early Mustang but it was kind of watch-winding boring to see in the dyno room. Soooo, were going to pep it up with a set of AFR heads that have been milled for a little compression. Any guesses on how much power it will make? No changes, just the heads. Ask me and I will post the flow digits.
