6th Annual Ross Pistons NMCA Muscle Car Nationals season begins this weekend at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Florida

The NMCA kicks off its 20th season March 28-30 in Bradenton, Florida with the running of the Ross Pistons NMCA Hot Rod Nationals. The season-opening event for the NMCA Edelbrock Drag Racing Series has always been one of the most hotly contested events of the season as racers use the great racing conditions to set the standard for the year.

One class to keep an eye on at this event will be Scorpion Performance Pro Street. With a new and more liberal rules-package, racers in the class should be posting numbers never seen before in NMCA competition. Also at the season-opener will be the ARP Xtreme Street Shootout where the best racers of 2007 in Vortech Xtreme Street will face each other in three rounds of racing during qualifying to claim their share of $4,000.
