401 Build Update

As you might already know, we’ve been working on building an AMC 401 for our CC/Rambler project car. It’s been slow going because, frankly, AMC parts are not that common. In fact, if you pick up a piston catalog, you won’t even see an AMC section. That isn’t bothering us though, follow along as we try to piece this engine together.

1. Nice project . I have a problem You might be able to help with . I'm sure this is the wrong place to post this but I couldn't think of anywhere else to put it . I have a 2.4l dohc GM motor in my 99 olds Alero and it needs rebuilding , does anyine have any parts to help me make it better (stronger , faster) you know that kind of stuff . Thanks

2. I liked the rambler so much when I saw one for sale I managed to resist about a month before I bought it. It is a 67 American two door post with no options, unless the heater was optional.

4. ok so i was just wondering if you guys knew if you could fit an ambassador motor into a 1963 rambler 440 i have a straight six in the rambler now but i've found its easier to find parts for the ambassador

6. AMX 4. As you all may know Jeff Teague is the mist of designing the AMX 4. He is debating which power plant to put in it. Doug
Teague will be displaying this clay model at Socalamc.com car show at the El Segundo Automobile Driving Museum. Hope you can come by to see the AMX 4
