I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw the copper intake ducting on Bart Hooper's ’60 Ford F100 pickup. I was so taken, in fact, that I didn't even notice the 4.6L DOHC Cobra engine underneath it. Bart wasn't around when I asked, but his brother-in-law was, and he told me Bart works in an industrial metal restoration shop, so he has lots of access to interesting metals. He didn't stop with the intake plumbing, though. He also made the headliner and door panels out of copper, too. The license plate sun visors are an interesting touch. Who says car guys don't recycle?
