Rust bucket

Patina is a word that gets tossed around a lot these days, especially here at work and at local car shows—so much that it kind of annoys me . . . like a car must look like a pile for it to be cool. Well, check out the patina on this Ford pickup I saw at Goodguys Columbus. Note the giant rust hole and bailing wire holding the fender on. The Rat rod guys will soon be running to strip the nearest chain link fence for raw material, and fiberglass body guys will be retooling their molds. It's the next big thing for sure!
