Cowl induction

I don't remember where I shot this photo because all the shows blend together after a while. I shot this engine compartment because of the ’67 to ’68 Z28 Camaro cowl induction air cleaner assembly. Somebody is reproducing these air cleaners—although they are crazy expensive due to low demand. The original factory idea was to pull cool air from the base of the windshield to feed the engine in the road race–bound early Z28 Camaros until they came up with the cowl induction hood in 1969. What makes this photo doubly interesting is that this air cleaner is affixed to an otherwise mildly modified early Chevelle.
