There is no room for an A/C system so LK had to create a bracket to hold an idler pulley on the driver-side of the block. The alternator sits between the V on the intake manifold.

1. How can it be a "street rod" without A/C?

Seriously, what about using a jackshaft and positioning the compressor under the chassis? The evap unit could ride in the trunk (better for weight distribution).
