Panther Cars and Cobra R's are Cool

Though I’ve mentioned it before, it’s worth repeating: above all, I love to drive. To twist the key, select a gear, and point my car toward a favorite section of road is really one of the best feelings in the world to me. I rejoice in the dynamic forces of the car: acceleration, braking, cornering. I love the sights, sounds, and feel you get from driving.

I mentioned in my last couple of blogs that I really missed driving my car while it was down and out with a spark plug malfunction. I got to make up for some of that last time this weekend hitting the twisty roads of Mulholland Highway. I met up with some guys, all of whom were driving SN95 or newer Mustangs. My friend Brian owns this especially cool Mustang Cobra R. He snapped this picture of our cars parked at the side of the road. Though the California Highway Patrol was out in full force that day, no one in our group had and problems with the real cops! Thanks, Brian, for the awesome picture.
